testfile with encapsulated postscript image

Problem description:
Encapsulated Postscript images can be included in LibreOffice tekstfiles. This works fine. When exporting the file to pdf, however, these images donot appear in the pdf-file. In Ubuntu 12.04 this used to work.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached file
2. Export to pdf
3. Open pdf file

Current behavior: no image in pdf-file

Expected behavior: imag in pdf-file

              
Operating System: Ubuntu
Version: 4.2.3.3 release

Hi Erik,

thanks for the report. The image does show in the PDF. Anyway in 4.3.0beta1.

I expect that to be the case too in 4.2.4.... but not sure.
You may want to try that?

Hi Cor,

Of course I would like to try a newer version of LibreOffice.
Can I do that with Ubuntu's Synaptic Package Manager?
How should I proceed?

4.2.4.2 has got the same problems.

Hi Cor,

I tried different versions.
It does NOT work in 4.2.4.2.
And it does work, like you said, in 4.3.0.
