Hi Louic, thanks for reporting. I think not a bug 0.00 is 0. But it's easy to format the cell to achieve what you want. [Ctrl+1] or Menu/Format/Cell Set format code to: 0.00;[RED]-0.00 Hi, Thanks for your clarification. Maybe it is not a bug but rather a matter of opinion about the default settings (I will stick with my initial opinion if you don't mind). Fortunately it is easy enough to change the cell format so I am happy with that as a solution. Marked resolved/notabug. Fortunately everyone can think as likes, this is an open project. |
Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Enter the value -0.001 in a cell 2. Change formatting to two decimal places only Current behavior: Value is shown as 0.00 Expected behavior: Value should be shown as -0.00. Why? Because when it is used in a computation, say we multiply it with a positive value, the result shown is negative and appears to be wrong because it appears we are multiplying two positive numbers.
