Bullets seem to affect the overall numbering scheme.  I have a heading 1 with numbering numbered to 3 (for example); I have some text inside of this paragraph with bullets.  When I add another heading 2 after the bullets, the numbering should go to 3.1.  Instead it goes to 1.1.  If I right-click and try to continue numbering, it switches to a bullet.  If I re-click on numbering not bullets it goes to 1.  No way it seems to get the next paragraph to be 3.1

Thanks for your report. However this numbering works fine for me.

I guess that it's best to first ask for user-support. For example there is a group of users with a great variety of skills that can offer help with questions:

So for now I close as WORKSFORME. Might there turn out to be a problem in some specific details, then pls reopen with those details.
