Confirmed in 4.3 on Linux Mint. related to issue 80373 of course It is very frustrating not to be able to find an option in the main menu/properties, and only find it on the "shortcut" toolbars. Personally I would put the transparency setting on the image tab. (Still needed in 5.4.) *** Bug 106573 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hello, Confirmed in 6.3.6.2 (x64) on windows 8.1 Please fix this adding an image transparency setting in the image properties dialog. At the very least improve UI so that things are understandable : when setting Transparency in image properties dialog, one expects that this transparency is applied to the image. If this setting is for the background then display "background transparency" and add a tooltip to guide the user to the right command ! What a loss of time for new users ! Thank you for listening |
