I have tried to Save a Writer Document / Template with some user variables (Input Fields).
After opening the template document / writer document, I entered data and saved the file.
My default file format for saving is Docx. 
In the docx file, all the variables data is lost.

If I save it in LibreOffice writer format, then the variables are properly saved.

Think it is a bug at the time of conversion to Microsoft word.
