The writer do not recognize other language to do correction and suggestions on corrections on the text except the english.

It do not work in catalan and not in spanish.

In older version all work correctly.

Operating System: Windows 8
Version: 4.2.5.2 release

did you install proper spellchecker extensions?

probably the catalan issue is a duplicate of Bug 79012 which is fixed in forthcoming 4.2.6 release (end of july)

I haven't heard previous reports about spanish.

The same error is present in Linux version, see bug 78912

please retest with 4.2.6.3 or 4.3.2.2 and give update of the issue status
