screenshot with a transparent popup

When selecting the buttons for drawing color, drawing background color, or highlight color, the color select popup is transparent as if it were an inactive window (in my system settings, I have set a certain transparency for inactive windows). When I set the transparency of inactive windows to non-transparent, everything works fine. The bug occurs independently from using themes or not.

not reproducible under Win7x64 using LO 4.2.5.2
try upgrading and tell if issue persists (probably Linux specific).

Not reproducible for me with LibreOffice 4.3.1.0.0+ build at home under Ubuntu 14.04 x86-64.

Two questions to try to bound the problem:
1/ are you using KDE?
2/ do you encounter the same problem if you access the color select popup from the sidebar instead of the formatting toolbar?

Set status to NEEDINFO. Please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once you have provided the requested informations.

Best regards. JBF

@JBF:

1) I am not using KDE but XFCE (Xubuntu 14.04).
2) Accessing the color select popup from the sidebar makes no difference (see additional screenshot).

Thank you very much for your detailed instructions - this is very helpful for a beginner like me.

Best regards, Friedemann

Hi Friedmann,

Not able to reproduce with Xubuntu 14.04 with 4.2.4.2. I believe the issue maybe caused by your graphics card and i'd suggest trying an alternative driver.
