Document with example rows

Calc crashes when I want to perform a sort on a row.
Version 4.3.0.2 on Windows 8.1

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select rows A3 to F3
2. Go to Data/Sort/
3. Take actual selection
4. Go to settings and change direction from rows to columns

Then my LibreOffice crashes.

Confirmed with version 4.2.6.1 under windows 7 and mint 16.
Not confirmed with version 4.1.6.2 under mint 16 and 4.2.4.2 under ubuntu 14.04.

Step 4 can be skipped. The bug can also be triggered by just clicking 'OK'.
Comment 2 MM 2014-07-18 11:34:42 UTC
Tested a bit more. First version that crashes (on mint 16) is 4.2.5.1.

As it's been confirmed - marking as:

New
Major - crash/data loss
High

Regression (as MM says it first happens in 4.2.5)

Comment 4 Christopher Alexander Chavez 2014-07-19 07:14:21 UTC
Could not reproduce crash using 4.3.0.3 on OS X. Am I not doing something right?
- Select cell range A3:F3
- Data > Sort
- 'Current Selection'
- Options > Direction > select 'Left to right (sort columns)'
- Options > Sort Options > uncheck 'Range contains row labels' (otherwise the data is not sorted)
- OK
Data sorted; no crash.

MM, when skipping step 4 it seems similar to bug 80462, which seems to be resolved in 4.3.0.3 aka RC3, but a 4.2.6 patch was not announced.
Comment 5 MM 2014-07-19 11:45:28 UTC
Indeed, it's fixed in 4.3.0.3
Comment 6 Marc Kaulisch 2014-07-22 09:14:00 UTC
Yes, it works now for me in 4.3.0.3
I am not if it is a fix...
