Workaround : add a small space before the Greek letter, for example:

Created attachment 103361 [details] Screenshot of the problem. All greek letters are too close to fraction bar, especially when compared to fractions with digits. It might be that i'm missing something, but my current workaround for this is phantom 1 %pi phantom 1
