Description juergen.rotter 2014-08-09 10:07:52 UTC
Problem description:
in spreadsheet docs with multiple sheets some sheets are lost when the file is saved. when opening the file again sheets contain no content any more, though the sheet with its name is still existing

this does happen on my Windows 8 PC
this does NOT happen on my Windows 7 PC

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a file with several sheets, e.g. 6 sheets
2. modify the contents of one of the sheets, e.g. insert a blank into a cell in sheet 4
3. save the file, close libreoffice
4. open the file again, the contents of sheets 4-6 is gone

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:
please don't loose contents

I have experienced this in all versions post 4.1.3 on Win 8, however it was already existing in earlier versions (pre 4.1.3)

Operating System: Windows 8
Version: 4.2.6.2 release

I can NOT reproduce it with LO 4.2.6.2 Build id.: 185f2ce4dcc34af9bd97dec29e6d42c39557298f on Windows XP SP2

1) created a new spreadsheet with six sheets
2) in the A1 fields of the sheets entered the index of the sheet itself (1, 2, ... 6)
3) saved and closed the file
4) reopened it and inserted a ' 0' on sheet 4 after the '4' character
5) saved and closed
6) reopened, but everything seems to be OK even on sheet 4-6

Yep, can't repro even on Win 8.1 32-bit LibO 4.4 RC1.
Setting to WFM.

Original reporter can test with 4.4 and if the problem still exists, they can change this back to UNCONFIRMED.

Removing of user profile would also be good: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile
