Description Werner Schäffer 2014-08-19 09:52:18 UTC
Windows 8.1 64 Bit

Clicking on a file like filename.csv starts Libre Office with an empty restore window. Trying to close this window by clicking ok or the close button, freezes Libre Office. The task manager shows three processes, two named LibreOffice, one named LibreOffice Calc. But all processe have no CPU activity. The only possibility is to killing them.

Starting LibreOffice Calc by clicking the button leeds to the same result.

Only starting global LibreOffice and then open a document works in my environment.

Hi, I think it's a duplicate of bug 80927, could you try the workaround in comment #13, renaming the quickstarter and tell us if it works. Thanks - Sophie

Reported did not reply, but I'm pretty sure that he used Quickstarter ("The task manager shows three processes, two named LibreOffice, one named LibreOffice Calc"), so it is a duplicate of bug 80927.

I tried the workarround with renaming quickstart.exe and it seems that this solved the problem.
