Description hantunez 2014-09-23 10:30:14 UTC
Problem description:
the file has 12 sheets, one for each month, all data are numerical except for column titles (in the first row); only the last row has formulas: sum the values of each column.
After filling each row (never more than 10 values) I save the file (in excel format) to avoid losing data. But even then I have the crashes.

Steps to reproduce:
1. ....
2. ....
3. ....

Current behavior:

Expected behavior:

Operating System: Debian
Version: 4.3.1.2 release
Last worked in: 4.2.6.2 release

Hi hantunez,

Can you provide a sample where you experiment this behavior?
This could help a lot.

Thank you,

Jacques

Hi Jacques,
thank you for your quick reply.
Pleas find attached the sample file which produces the crash.
It crashes (randomly) after inserting some values into the unfilled sheets
(e.g. the tenth). It seems that if the changes are not saved in the xls
format it last somewhat longer.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the sample.

I tried this:
open your file in LO 4.3.2.1
Build ID: f9b3ad49d92181b0a1fe7e76f785a2c2cd0847d3,
and also in LO 4.2.5.1
Build ID: 881bb88abfe2992c6cede97c23e64a9885de87de
and Windows 7 Home Premium
copy B2:N32 datas from "Wrz" sheet and paste to the last sheets and save it to xls format. No problem to open this file into LO or Excel.. No crash for me.

Perhaps Linux only.

I set status to UNCONFIRMED.

regards,

Jacques

Please try resetting user profile, sometimes solves strange issues:

Thank you, m.a.riosv : it seems all right now.
Any way, (regarding Jacques' answer), just for information: I also could
copy and paste from one sheet to other, but the problem was after typing a
few values and moving around in the sheet with the arrows.

Best regards
