While working on bu 76834, i noticed that attachment 96654 [details] and attachment 96661 [details] would crash libreoffice master.

This is a regression as the 4.3.3 daily i have opened it.

I doubt its actually a recent thing. I believe its the old windows specific assert, just that its only visible in a debugging version and not a release version
