Description almos 2014-12-08 17:00:11 UTC
If I select an area by click-dragging, it can be moved by dragging again. If more areas are selected at once with control+click, and the resulting selection is not rectangular (e.g. L shaped, hole in the middle, non-continuous), it can't be moved by dragging. This is a serious limitation IMHO.

Please attach a sample document.

Setting to NEEDINFO - once you attach a sample document set to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks

What do you want in the sample document?

It's simple to reproduce: open any spreadsheet, select something, try to move it.

Moving this back to UNCONFIRMED as it seems like the instructions are indeed pretty straight forward.

Thanks for your patience.

Okay finally confirming this - apologies for the delay.

This is an enhancement request - the feature that you are requesting has never existed nor was LibreOffice designed to do this but - your suggestion is very much valid.

Marking as such.
