It's simple to reproduce: open any spreadsheet, select something, try to move it. Moving this back to UNCONFIRMED as it seems like the instructions are indeed pretty straight forward. Thanks for your patience. Okay finally confirming this - apologies for the delay. This is an enhancement request - the feature that you are requesting has never existed nor was LibreOffice designed to do this but - your suggestion is very much valid. Marking as such.
