Try writing the sentences first, then highlight the sentences that you want a particular bullet type for, select the bullet type, and then highlight the next sentence and select a different bullet type. This works for me: Ubuntu 14.04 x64 LibreOffice 4.4.0.2 rc Also verified that method works on 4.3.5.2 release. See attached. Created attachment 112068 [details]

Created attachment 112065 [details] screen shot of liber presentation actual bug: I have inserted a solid small circular bullet and typed a sentence and when I try to insert right pointing arrow bullet for the second sentence in the same slide it is not getting inserted. expected result: when I insert a solid small circular bullet and complete first sentence and try to insert the right pointing arrow bullet for the second sentence in the same slide it should get inserted. step1: open liber office presentation step2: type a first sentence by inserting solid small circular bullet step3: try to type a second sentence by inserting a right pointing arrow bullet in the same slide step4: right pointing arrow bullet is not getting inserted in the second sentence in the same slide.
