Hi Silex,
Has a 3rd party been able to confirm this bug?

(moving back to UNCONFIRMED until we have verification of confirmation)
Comment 2 Buovjaga 2015-07-30 18:08:32 UTC
I did:
1. Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Appearance - Document bg: black
2. Format cell, set sky blue borders on all edges
3. Save & reload

The borders did not disappear.

Please give more information about the problem and please test with 4.4.x.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

I couldn't confirm it either. :-(

Need more clear steps

Might the original reporter mean that on the black background the selection rectangle of single cell is invisible?

I guess we will never know at this rate, so closing.
