When using MS Excel, it's possible to edit/update a data range of a chart just dragging or moving the rectangle which covers the range. It's done in the same way one edit a formula range.

It's pretty useful when one needs to update a chart including new data. It's also useful to make a new chart which is formatted in the same way a previous and they jave in common a series (for example "time", in physics/chemistry/engineering).

Steps:
1) Create new chart covering some data in a spreadsheet.
2) Add more data below.
3) Extend the chart data range to cover this new data.

Actual results:
1) You must enter the chart dialog to edit the series.

Expected:
1) You would be able to edit the series extending the "colored" square that covers the data range.

I think this is a very good feature, which I still miss.
