When you accidentally detach the slides pane from the left of the normal view of Impress, you see no intuitive way to reattach it back. 

An internet search suggests that this problem has been noted since 2007

It can be reattached by holding Ctrl while clicking on the gray area below the titlebar of the detached slides pane. 

It should have a more obvious way to do this.

Hello,
with version 4.4.2, win7 I can easily drag and drop Slides pane back to left. Closing bug as worksforme,set to unconfirmed again if you have still problem in LO 4.4
