On my Screen (resolution 2560 x 1440) the slideshow will not display correctly.

looks similar to this one ( Bug 91651 - slideshow not possible ) which is reported with a 3200 x 1800 pix resolution.

have you tried to change the resolution settings of your monitor to see if the issue only happens with certain setups?

please retest at different screen resolution and tell the model of your graphic card
