Maxim Monastirsky committed a patch related to this issue. The patch should be included in the daily builds available at http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. Please test it thoroughly. In particular, make sure it doesn't reintroduce Bug 76825. Thoroughly tested and no problems in the sidebar or related to bug 76825.
