Description kie000 2015-08-31 10:11:36 UTC
If I hide the status bar, it should not re-appear of it's own accord.

When the area of data being sorted includes =function(anything) the status bar re-appears.

raal and kie000, any chance you could test this bug again and check if it also happens with other data, for example just numbers?
In my testing, it happens with any kind of data, not just functions.

Hi, yes the bug occurs, win7 64bit L.O. v7.4.2.3

Both when I do a sort on numbers and the status bar also appears when a new column is inserted before the selected one.

Behaviour is different between working on a new spreadsheet and working on an old spreadsheet. Inserting a column into a new spreadsheet does not cause the task bar to appear.

Sorting some numbers thrown into a new spreadsheet did cause the task bar to appear on the 2nd attempt, on the 1st attempt the browser expanded the area but it did not populate the area with task bar informations and controls.

On Win10 (also L.O. v7.4.2.3) a sort of numbers in a new spreadsheet causes the status bar to re-appear on the 1st attempt.

Confirmed in recent master build too:

Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: b57307e8f3553fcb292c9c11fcf58bcef3a6cb3c
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Saving the file hides the status bar again.
