Seems to be the same problem as the one reported here: bug 94081. As already said, without a test document, it is impossible to investigate. Best regards. JBF The issue is a little different. This one is only a visual one (it initializes the straightedge and I'm seeing the cursor blinking while the page is not visible (I'm seeing just the gray background)) while the other seems to be a functional one. But I have figured out a way how this issue does also appear on new documents. The document needs just a linked image (it doesn't even depend if the image exists or not). After closing Writer and opening the document again for around 10-20 times the issue triggers commonly at one of these tries. I think I can reproduce the described problem with the test kit for bug 89194: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=113210 Please, could you confirm that you have the same problem with this test kit?
