For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#GNU.2FLinux) I did it, but now I could not start at all. The message is same but I can reproduce at 100%. 1) Would it be possible you retrieve a backtrace by following this link https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux:_How_to_get_a_backtrace ? 2) Do you reproduce this with earlier version (at least 5.0.2)? lowrite --backtrace
Badfully, there's no stack here. Could you check the available memory during LibreOffice launching? (eg: launch "top" on a first console, then launch LibreOffice on a second console, then monitor first console). Created attachment 120177 [details]
Memory before - error - after
Yes I was able to reproduce 5.0.x series however I haven't reported it ;( for the Python problem ( File "/usr/share/gdb/auto-load/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6.0.19-gdb.py", line 63, in <module>) I found this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-4.8/+bug/1473599 Did you install any specific fonts? If yes, could you uninstall them and give a new try? Also, what locale UI do you use? Created attachment 120179 [details]

Font list / fc-list
LibreOffice 4.4.x, package 1:4.4.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~trusty1 works well. I am using Hungarian. Created attachment 120182 [details]
fonts list
Fonts I've got.
I don't know if it's linked to a specific font or if it's completely unrelated. Since I don't have more questions, I put this one back to unconfirmed. Now I am installing dbg package of LibreOffice. I will come back after I got this installed. Created attachment 120183 [details]
strace log
Updated to official upstream LibreOffice 5.0.3 and it is working. Downstream bug has reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1513172 Thank you for your feedback, let's put this one to WFM. |
