Je ne peux appliquer la procédure de netoyage que vous proposez. Par l'intermédiaire de CALIBRE, j'ai pu transformer -sauvagement, mise en page transformée - les documents en .pdf. Par les services de online-convert.com/fr, j'ai obtenus une traduction en .odt qui est exploitable. Les fichiers .docx de 2.0M et 4.3M ont respectivement en .odt 10.7M et 11.6M.
