This is an enhancement request This bug still exists in version 6.3.1.2. Note that this option has to be proposed for PNG output file only. Besides the checkbox, maybe a "combobox" would define the number of colours in the index : 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256. This combobox would be enabled only if the checkbox is selected. The default value could be set to 256. This bug still occurs with : Version: 7.2.5.2.0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 711f8d38e9451cd2fd39b6963d2a3fc166f04cb1 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.utf8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded |
Created attachment 123900 [details] screenshot of the "compress image" dialog window In the "compress image" dialog, I would appreciate an option for using indexed colours when relevant. For example, the png image format decreases the file size when using 256 indexed colours instead of "real" colours.
