Additionally, if a change is made in the cell (eg uppercase to italics), a grey border will be placed at the bottom of the cell I can not confirm with Version: 5.2.0.0.alpha0+ and 5.1.1.3; win7 sheet name "27th, < or )" , file type .ods Are you saving into ods or another format?
