Open Writer 2. right mouse on Standard toolbar to Customize 3. select Visible button 4. highlight and click on Vertical text Expected: The button labeled with laid over T for vertical text added to Standard toolbar Result: Button not added, the selection on the Visible Buttons menu does not stay selected. Same result using the Customize Toolbar dialog, and the check box for Vertical text. Box checks but button not added. Other buttons can be added -- Formula, Navigator no issue. Just the Vertical Text button having problems. @Jay -- maybe from work on the Single toolbar mode?
That's by design. You have to turn on CJK features for this (Tools > Options... > Language Settings > Languages > Asian), and restart Writer.
OK, Thanks Maxim! Verified the button can be added and functions once the CJK checkbox is enabled on the Languages panel.
