Description Dennis Roczek 2016-07-01 10:05:28 UTC
I thought i had fixed the wiki conversation python script to add nowiki tags.

My manual modification at https://help.libreoffice.org/index.php?title=Common/About_Import_and_Export_Filters&diff=prev&oldid=1165537 in last year July just got "reverted" by the update of the helpfiles, see https://help.libreoffice.org/index.php?title=Common/About_Import_and_Export_Filters&diff=next&oldid=1165539

Propose this as an easyhack.

Andras / Jan: can you add the codepointer(s)? I'm very busy and have to close some open tabs atm.

Or just escape those characters as “&lt;” and “&gt;” instead of using <nowiki>.

Codepointer and how to use page:

Also on https://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Glossary_of_Internet_Terms
we have h1, /h1 and br interpreted by the wiki in this sentence:

For example, titles are marked by the tags <h1> at the beginning and </h1> at the end of the title. Some tags only appear on their own such as <br> for a line break or <img ...> to link a graphic.

Can You explain better this easy hack?
Comment 5 Dennis Roczek 2017-01-16 12:04:38 UTC
@Gian well I guess the simplest part would be to add the stuff to http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/help/to-wiki/wikiconv2.py

You have to build LibreOffice with a language pack and then run the wiki conv script to get the files which would then later be uploaded. The upload happens manually every half year (shortly after the release of the next major version), so simply improving the script is enough. ;-)

Do you need more information?

Reverting status to NEW, due to other engagement.

Isn’t the wiki-based online help on its way out now?
Comment 9 Olivier Hallot 2018-03-09 14:45:29 UTC
I would set to "WONTFIX" since we moved wiki help to html help at

https://helponline.libreoffice.org
Comment 10 Adolfo Jayme Barrientos 2018-03-11 19:53:15 UTC
Closing per Olivier.
