Description Doug Hutcheson 2016-07-10 06:17:36 UTC
I have just run an update on my Fedora 24 system which updated my Libre Office installation to 5.1.4.2 10(Build:2). Now, if I click on a cell and drag downwards to auto-fill the cells with the formula in the first, everything seems fine, but as soon as I click in another cell the program hangs and eventually crashes. I have tried saving the file as a new file, but the new one has the same problem. I have tried 'Copy' to move the sheet into a new document, but the new one has the same problem.

I have tried multiple edits in Writer and that seems to be functioning fine - the issue appears to be with Calc only.

The problem was with the version provided through the Fedora repository via dnf.

I deleted that version, downloaded and installed the latest version from the LibreOffice web page and the problem was solved.

Sorry to trouble you.
