On Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US with Version: 5.2.0.1 (x64) Build ID: fcbcb4963bda8633ba72bd2108ca1e802aad557d CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Windows 6.19; UI Render: GL; Locale: en-US (en_US) STR 1. new Calc spreadsheet 2. select all cells on sheet (top left cell - column/row) 3. Format -> Cells to open dialog 4. Alignment tab 5. Properties select Wrap text automatically Expected All cells with text or numerical values will wrap as length of values exceed width of cell Result All cells with text or numerical values wrap as length of values exceed width of cell For OP, is there some other formatting applied to the sheet (or first column) prior to setting the global for cells to wrap?
Please test this: 1. Select all cells on sheet 2. apply Format -> Clear Direct Formatting 3. leave all cells on sheet selected and Format -> Cells to open dialog 4. on Alignment tab, select the "Wrap text automatically" checkbox Do values entered in the first column now wrap as desired?
