Beginning with the 5.2.0.1 RC, when the LO Basic Editor is open, once F8 has been used to step through a macro, the editor will only proceed in F8 mode when the macro is launched from the Writer interface. 

But in the LO Basic Editor, if F5 is pressed the entire Macro will fire.

Once the Macro Editor is closed, firing the macro from Writer works as it should.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for reporting. However your text is confusing to me.
In the IDE, I can start running a macro with F8, stop it with Shift+F5, start again with F8.
Can you please give a step by step description and tell what is wrong at which moment?

Hi Cor,

Thanks for taking a look at this. Since reporting this bug I have not had a reoccurrence. I had been working on some fairly involved macros, so maybe something broke temporarily? Not sure, but it hasn't happened since. Since there has been no confirmation perhaps it would be best to close this?
