Created attachment 126223 [details] current help content (en-US) for Custom Properties panel The provided help content is correct and seems sufficient for the built-in or on-line help. What are you proposing in addition to the descriptive text for the buttons? I don't believe adding "usage" to this dialog panel would improve things--and as always adds a l10n burden for translation. Suppose the Writer Guide content for "Working with Fields" (WG4214 pg 5-7, attaching) might be adapted, but seems the topic is better handled in other documentation rather than built-in or on-line help. Current help entries... -Custom Properties- Allows you to assign custom information fields to your document. -Properties- Enter your custom contents. You can change the name, type, and contents of each row. You can add or remove rows. The items will be exported as metadata to other file formats. -Add- Click to add a new row to the Properties list.
