Screen shot from Windows 7

The message after a failure to find a string appears on the far left, slightly above the Find box. See the attached screen shot.

The screen shot shows the position, but doesn't accurately reflect the display. After pressing "ffff<Enter>" the message was partially behind the find input box. For some reason it appears in front of the input box in the screen shot.

Notes:

* Observed on Ubuntu and Windows 7. The screen shot is from Windows 7.

* The box is labeled "Find" and the advanced version is "Find & Replace". Why is the message about "Search" instead of "Find"?

* If the window is maximized the message moves to the right of the search controls, and stays in that position when the window is un-maximized (at least for the window size I used).

See bug 92384.
Could you test, if the problem is gone in 5.2? http://www.libreoffice.org/download/pre-releases/

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 92384, if the problem went away.

Still present in 5.2.0.3 for Windows 7.

For me it works ok even if I have very narrow window width.

Did you start out with a narrow width, or narrow the window after the search didn't find a result?

When I start with a wide window and narrow it the message stays on the correct row (and eventually vanishes). When I start with a narrow window the message appears as shown in the attached screen shots.

Oh dear, you are right! I will close this as dupe because this really is the same issue as bug 92384 (which I just put back to NEW)
