Unable to instill LibreOffice on device with Vista OS system. Any thoughts why?
Did you run the .msi package "Run as Administrator"? Otherwise, we will need an installation log. So, from a command window "Run as Administrator" issue the command: msiexec.exe /i LibreOffice_5.1.4.2_Win_x64.msi /L*v install-log5.1.4.2.txt If still having issues, Zip and then post the log. =-ref-= Pick up a clean copy of the install package (always good to check the HASH value of the download against the details pages). http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

I think the issue is nothing happens when you click the MSI file. If you use "msiexec /i" command, the installation is started normally.

As 5.4 is the last version that supports MS Vista * and MS Vista is officially deprecated by Microsoft by April 2017, I suggest to close this issue as WONTFIX. [*] https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.4#Windows
