User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0 Build Identifier: LibreOffice 5.0.4.2 I work a lot with copy paste for strings form the Web and into Calc. This happens sometimes, maybe once per month this year: CTRL+C some text, ALT TAB to Calc, CTRL+V to paste. Only at some stage, Calc does not paste the newer CTRL+C texts and pastes some older text. In Notepad, the same paste command works fine with the newest CTRL+C. Switch to Calc, and it still pastes the same wrong text. I've tried copy paste intermediary steps in notepad, tried restarting Calc. Only system restart solves this I guess I've filled some Clipboard registry in Calc and it does not accept newer input. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1.CTRL+C some www text, ALT TAB to Calc, CTRL+V to paste 2.repeat until it does not work anymore [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: SpreadsheetDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no Reset User Profile? No
Could you give a try to last stable LO version 5.1.4?
Hello. I can confirm that this problem exists in the last version of Fresh (LibreOffice_5.2.0_Win_x64) and Still (LibreOffice_5.1.5_Win_x64) So sometimes when I try to paste something into Writer document it put the previous material from the clipboard, not the last one. So I need to save the document, close it, reopen it, put "Paste" and only in this case it will paste the correct last piece of the clipboard.
Actually I learnt from Ask.LibreOffice that the problem might occur when MS Edge is opened. I am not sure if in my situation it was opened. If the problem occurs again I will pay attention to it.
I can confirm I'm using Microsoft Edge when this happens, in Windows10 32bit
I think this might be bug 35176 or bug 62196 and maybe they are all the same deep down.

As Roman had this problem in 2016, let's ask him, if he can still reproduce with MS Edge.

Let's mark as duplicate of monster bug 62196, which shows there were improvements from 7.1 or 7.2 onwards. If you still experience the "LO pastes previous clipboard content" issue on Windows with a recent LO version, please follow the newer bug 148647. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 62196 ***
