Figures screens

I work a lot with two windows and when I do that using the calc and writer, some options for the edges are disabled. According to Figure 01, you see that the edges options are active. In Figure 02, in the middle window disable options and force to maximize the main window to apply these formatting cells.
This same situation occurs in the writer, such as the simple shapes (Figure 03).
You can leave these active functions in a half window?
