Description Volga 2016-08-07 08:55:56 UTC
In LO Writer, Calc, Impress and Draw, the Chinese Simplified translation for “Untitled” disappeared, displaying “Untitled 1” instead in zh-CN version. This term should be translated as 未命名 or 无标题 in Chinese Simplified. This problem appeared since 5.1.

Indeed, it appears as "Untitled" in 5.1.2.2, but as "未命名" in 5.1.0.3.

Since we have a bibisect repository for windows covering the branch where this regression was introduced, adding keyword 'bibisectRequest'.

Let's assume it affects all OSes (unless proven otherwise).

Ok, so this seems to be coming from Pootle.

Kevin, I saw you're in the Chinese (Simplified) language team, could you take a look at the translation? Thanks!

It's here:
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/zh_CN/libo_ui/translate/framework/source/classes.po#unit=33162641

In the old versions the string was translated to Chinese. I really don't like Chinese chars to appear in file names. In some applications even Microsoft Office uses english names, for example in an excel file a new tab is named "Sheet1", "Sheet2"..., rather than "工作表1", "工作表2"... that's why I changed it to english. Sometimes non-english filenames causes trouble.

Now since you guys don't like the english file name, I change it back to "未命名" then. This is not a big issue.

Mark as fixed.
