@Ray : if you are doing something differently to what I described here, please give detailed instructions. Setting to NEEDINFO pending requested information, please set back to UNCONFIRMED once you have done this.
Created attachment 126759 [details] Imported from csv test file - NOTE: first two lines of csv missing @Alex, Thanks for looking into it. Here is what I did: 1. Start LO 2. File > Open Document 3. Import Dialogue: hit OK I also get the same error if I double click the file and open it with the default application (LibreOffice). I also get the same bug if I drag and drop CSV file provided in bug report onto LO Dock icon Changing the language from en_GB to FR (France) and character encoding from UTF-8 to ISO8859-15(Euro) results in the same bug to me.
Verify that you have not selected a number different than 1 on the Import - From row field.
It looks like "From row" was set somehow to '3'. Changing it to 1 solves the issue. Sorry for the false alarm and thanks for your help in solving the issue.
