I am using Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon. While composing this bug report I have tested and note that the task bar tabs are also missing in Writer. If multiple files are open I must move front windows to get to back windows. It may not be a bug but multiple files now open directly over one another as opposed to offset from one another. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open a file in Calc or Writer 2. 3. Expected Results: Task bar tab for each open file. Reset User Profile? No
Depends on the window manager; it works as expected under Ubuntu with Unity Version: 5.2.0.4 Build ID: 1:5.2.0~rc4-0ubuntu1~xenial2 Best regards. JBF
Maybe you should report the bug to Cinnamon?
Hello Peter, Buovjaga, *, (In reply to Buovjaga from comment #2) > Maybe you should report the bug to Cinnamon? or maybe better searching the bug on Mint's bugtracker ;? It could be reported there already (e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1529871 ?) @Peter: Have you tested this bug with our version of LO? Does it appear there as well? If not, it would be nice if you could close this bug here and either add a comment to the above mentioned one in Mint's bugtracker and/or open a new one there ... ;) HTH Thomas.
Due to non-response from OP, I'm closing this one. We use cinnamon on 12.04(13), 14.04(17.*), and 16.04(18) and haven't noticed this problem. We get our LO from the Ubuntu LibreOffice PPAs.
