Description padric@rtmc.net 2016-08-27 14:36:43 UTC
Base Forms. Feature enhancement. Create a wizard for Push Button for common actions.
Open an existing form and the appropriate modes(hidden, readonly, etc. Also button shape( squared, rounded ) appearance ( raised, sunken )and add image.

Open an existing report.

Bug: when adding a drawing object to a form that object can be moved and maybe deleted by the user when viewed in the normal view.

EDIT: Remove sunken, raised from description. Keep add image.

Sure why not ? Are you offering to code this functionality or know someone who could ? That would be very helpful.

You can already manually set various actions for a push button control object via the object's properties, as indeed the toggle status (pressed/unpressed), adding a background image, etc.

Much of this is even possible via LO Basic macro programming.

The change of appearance of the button would require more advanced programming skills from what I understand, by someone familiar with the drawinglayer code.

I think this needs design team's evaluation

LibreOffice wizards have not proven to be much supportive in general. Would prefer solutions per extension.
