Hi Soldatov, Thanks for posting the issue. I confirm the problem in a recent daily version (5.3.0.0.+) LibreOffice is trying for ~5 minutes now; I quit the application.
LibreOffice 3.3.0.4 'opens' the file after some time, showing some zillion frames.. By the way, 'my' Word2010 in a win7 VM is now working for 7 minutes and has already done 85% of the process of opening the file. An interesting profiling case, but not a regular use case I guess..?
The basis of my work is the monitoring of various documents . Such situations are not uncommon . I mean, when to wait for the opening of the document should be more than 10 minutes . As a tool , I use LibreOffice. Where it does not open the document using MS Office. In this situation, I decided to describe the problem in our bugtracker .

This is the slowest file I ever opened in MSO and saving there as 2010 docx version froze my computer. This is likely 2007 docx. It's 275 page table created with text-boxes (!), so not correct file at all. I'd be glad to set this one as "invalid" but I'll just lower the importance and set bact to Needinfo until a response on what's missing in the report: - how was this created at all? I guess not MSO but some program generation, which and how?
