Tested on LibreOffice: Versione: 5.2.0.4 Build ID: 066b007f5ebcc236395c7d282ba488bca6720265 OS: Ubuntu 14.04 Version: 4.4.7.2 Build ID: f3153a8b245191196a4b6b9abd1d0da16eead600 OS: Ubuntu 14.04 Problem description: Many user expect that by protecting cells by unflagging options "Select protected cells" and "Select unprotected cells" cells can not be selected, and copy-pasted. It is not the case if you click in the intersection between Column and Raw Headers. Step by step: -select cells to be protected; -tools -> Protect Document -> Sheet; -Unflag "Select protected cells" and "Select unprotected cells"; -By clicking the top left corner between A and 1, is possible to select all the sheet; -if the selection is copy and pasted into another sheet is possible to edit the content of protected cells. Expected behaviour: If unflag the "Select protected cells" and "Select unprotected cells" checkbox I would expect not to be able to select the entire sheet. Also I would expect not being able to copy and paste protected cells. Per https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Protecting_Cells_from_Changes this might be enhancement and is formally not considered a bug, although it is in the nutshell. But the problems stems from the possibility to select "unchecked" cells (protected or unprotected) at all, either single protected cell or the whole sheet with Edit-Select All. So this bug should not be "protected cells can be copied" but "cells marked as not selectable should not be selected".
