1. Open Writer with default blank document.
2. Select "Heading 1" from the Apply Paragraph Style combi box.
3. Select Styles > Edit Style.  Click on the Font Effects tab and select Red font colour.  Click on Ok.
4. Type "Heading 1" to show the red heading text.
5. Press Enter to get a new line and select "Heading 2" from the Style combi box.
6. Select Styles > Edit Style.  Select Red font colour, and check the Shadow box.  Click on Ok.
7. Type "Heading 2" to show the red heading text with a black shadow.
8. Select View > Hide Whitespace.
9. Expected response: whitespace hidden, no other change.
10. Observed response: whitespace hidden and the heading 2 text turns black with a red shadow.

Note: processes other than 'Hide Whitespace' can also cause this effect e.g. changing the window size.

Not reproduced. Plz test with 5.2

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Does not reproduce since Windows 10 updated to v1607.  Must have been an operating system bug.
