A file that I originally created with LibreOffice Writer and exported to a PDF using Foxit PDF reader appears to be corrupt using the reader. Their website is available at https://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/pdf-reader/, they can be contacted at support@foxitsoftware.com. I reported this to the technical support team of Foxit PDF reader as well, but I do not have copies of the original documents.

I open your pdf file in Foxit and other pdf programs, all get the message that the pdf file is damaged, do you get the error after open in Foxit Reader? If yes, what's detailed operation you did in Foxit? Can you send us the original pdf file for internal test? Thanks and best regards! Lyndi
Is there any chance for you to supply a complete reproduction scenario in the future? I'm afraid without the source document even the corrupted PDF wouldn't be useful.

Thanks for the files! Now my question is, how did you export to PDF exactly? (referring to this piece of sentence: "exported to a PDF using Foxit PDF reader") Source 2 seems to be a correct PDF export of source 1. Note that source 3 is actually an ODT file with PDF extension.
There are different options for exporting within LibreOffice, one ought to try them out as some are configurable through the operating system, in my case I use a legacy server-based operating system. I chose the option from the file menu, I would expect anyone who is computer literate to try out the basic options first.
So what was done differently when exporting to 'source 2' compared to 'source 3 - corrupt PDF file'?
