User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build Identifier: libreoffice-5.2.1.2-snap1 After opening any LibreOffice application (the Snappy builds), the generic ? launcher icon appears for it rather than the actual LibreOffice launcher icon (which, strangely, does appear in the Dash). Obviously this is Ubuntu/Unity DE specific, if someone could install Snappy on a different Linux distribution (or DE) and see if that also has a missing icon in their distro/DE's launcher then that would be useful. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the LibreOffice Snap onto Ubuntu 2. Load LibreOffice (the Snappy build) Actual Results: A ? icon for the LibreOffice window appeared in the toolbar Expected Results: A LibreOffice icon for the LibreOffice window appears in the toolbar I recognise that the LO snap is WIP packaging but thought I should log the bug anyway Specs: Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Intel Core i5 CPU M 520 3.7GiB RAM 64-bit Reset User Profile? No
CCing Björn here =)
After removing the official repository Deb builds of LibreOffice and a reboot there's now generic icons (they look like pages) for LibreOffice in the Dash too.
Should this (and other LibreOffice Snappy bugs) be filed in Launchpad too or not? And if yes, then against what, the libreoffice (Ubuntu) package and/or the LibreOffice Packagers team?
