Usually it's enough renaming/deleting the file "user/registrymodifications.xcu", it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files "user/basic/dialog.xlc" and "scrip.xlc" are overwritten, additionally custom colors in "user/config/standard.soc" are lost.

my impression is that it misbehaves when too many worksheets are in the same file and one tries to duplicate one of the (right most?) worksheets, in which case the duplicated worksheet either receives a "data table" or has all of its "data ranges" pointing to the original worksheet.

i wish i could reproduce the bug so i could avoid it....

i am attaching the original before the corruption of the "data ranges".
