Hi, then i have an file with many entries and i set an AutoFilter, i wanna know how many entries are selected. Could you add this to the Status Bar, the same Way Excel dows it? Thanks. Kind regards Torben Andresen
Read https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Status_Bar and follow the link "Standard Formula". This feature is available since the dawn of time. (Please reopen the ticket in case your request goes beyond what is implemented.)
Created attachment 127835 [details] Screenshot for better explanation I read the posted link but it worked for me. I changed the Field in the Status Bar but it doesn't show me the needed info. I have to work with liste with some 10k entries. Then i set an filter, it could be still habe some 1000 entries in the Filter and i need to know how many entries exactly. Then i use for example the option "Selection count" in the Status Bar it only shows me the count of the marked Cell. So when i have an filtered list i still have to mark all listed entries to get the count.
Agreed, the status bar info would be a workaround in your case as you need to select the row. But I'm afraid you imagine a similar info at the autofilter header, which adds too much complexity. If you ask for the count only others may want counta, sum, average, fourier series... But let's see what others think.
Hi Torben The number of selected rows in an autofilter is shown in the statusbar as of LO 5.2. . See https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34873. Please confirm if your request is same as described in the above bug report.
Thanks. So i have to wait till RedHat has implemented 5.2 and my employe updated to that RH Version. Bug can be closed.
