Custom animations from the emphasis group has no effects on pictures, shapes nor text. No animation can be seen. Motion, entrance and exit effects works fine.
Tested with libreoffice impress  5.1.5.2 on windows 7 64bit  and linux fedora24 64bit.

They work fine you just have to use them correctly. For assistance please go to the user mailing list and I'm sure someone will help you. Closing as WFM.

Please do not reopen this bug unless you've gone to the user mailing list (or the ask libreoffice site) and tried to get assistance. I tested on two machines and everything works fine.
