Description npsroux 2016-10-10 18:37:09 UTC
Hello,

I just install the latest stable version of LibreOffice under my Windows 10 build 1511 where LibreOffice was never installed.
- The x64 edition never worked (infinite loading screen)
- The x86 edition worked immediatly

I tried to delete the LibreOffice profile for x64 ==> not better.

Hoping you will find something with this very light report.

Kind regards,
Nicolas

Hello,

I confirmed the problem on another PC with another install of Windows 10.

Kind regards,
Nicolas

Could you also try 5.2.2 x64?

Do you have Java 64 bits?

Also, when changing x86-x64, could you rename your LO directory profile? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Windows)

Sorry for delay :(

- Uninstall LibreOffice 5.1.5.2  x86 version
- Install LibreOffice 5.2.7 x64 version ==> was working
- Uninstall LibreOffice 5.2.7 x64 and LibreOffice install 5.1.5.2 x64 ==> was surprisingly working too
- Disable Java x64 8u131==> still working
- Disable Java x86 8u131 & enable Java x64 8u131 ==> still working
- Uninstall Java x64 8u131 ==> still working
- Uninstall Java x86 8u131 ==> still working
- Uninstall JDK 8u92 ==> still working

I was not able to reproduce the bug today, and can't explain it.

A problem in previous Java update ?
Or it was a problem with our new printer (network one installed like USB ...) which, if not online, make MS Office or Adobe Reader crash.

BTW LibreOffice is packaged with its own JRE ?

No.

Thanks for testing.
