Description: Although I cannot remember the last time I used Drag and Drop, I'm quite sure it worked before now. I can select data (make it "blue") just fine. When I hover over the selection, the cursor remains a text "I". When I click and hold within the selection, and then drag to where I wanna go, the action of moving my cursor behaves as it would if I was selecting data. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select text by holding down the default mouse button, and dragging from the beginning of the text you wish to select to the end of the text you wish to select. Then release the default mouse button. 2. Move the mouse cursor to within the selection. 3. Press and hold the default mouse button, and attempt to drag the selection elsewhere. Actual Results: Upon the attempt to drag the selection elsewhere, the selection is not dragged. If the cursor is moved forward in the flow of the document, the selection encompasses subsequent text. If the cursor is moved backward, the initial selection is omitted in favor of anything behind it, in the flow of the document. Expected Results: The mouse cursor would change from a text "I" to a mouse pointer, and I would be able to drag and drop selections. I cannot reproduce the problem with Version: 5.2.2.2 (current 'Fresh') on Windows 7, 32bit.
And, neither can I since upgrading to 5.1.6.1.0 (updated from Fedora Software Manager) Whatever was going on with it seems to be gone now. I'm gonna let this bug run it's course, in case someone else has the same problem with 5.1.5.2.
Thanks. I think we can close this, though :)
